thatcher turns 22

So as the title says it, this blog post is all about Doink's birthday celebration at 18th Jan. I wanted to blog about this event at the very next day but since the photos are not with me, and I being perfectionist ( :p ) didn't want to have all-words post so I had to wait till I get the pictures. Yeah, this is the disadvantages of not having high tech good camera. I want one too :( So yeah, now I got the pictures so lets get started with the event =)

Doink set up a sexy theme for the dinner but since I do not have any presentable sexy clothes to wear on, (no, I don't think singlet plus short is sexy on me) so I thought of making it up by wearing a new hairstyle to the dinner..

..which is by perming my hair myself. Curly hair carries sexy and feminine look..

..which is a total failure. I should just ask some help. Or spend some money at saloon. Now I just damaged my hair for nothing.

Departed sharp at 6pm from INTI Nilai to Doink's house at SS15 and get stuck in the traffic jam for an hour. Padan muka for not departing earlier, kept laying on the bed in room. So when I reached, I was greeted by the Jimuis. They all had reached earlier and cause Doink's room a big mess. They were all busy preparing themselves for the dinner when I reached. And with all most the girls in a room, there is no way the room is not in a mess. You can see the clothes and bags are laying all around on the floor and the hair accessories, make up stuff are all over the tables. As my hair is in total mess, and I haven't done any make up, I demanded help from my jimui.

Kyle helped me to straighten back my hair and Ivy help me to put on eyeliner and fake lashes! The feeling is just so good when you are in a room with people you love and you knew they love you back too. We mess around in the room, the girls are 'fighting' for the single piece of mirror, helped each other to fix the hair or make up, choose accessories for each other and rushing each other to be fast since we are a bit late than the scheduled time. Can't help but just smiling to the view at the point of time and join them!

So when we are done preparing we went to Belly Good at Sunway Mentari. The place serves bacon and sort of pork related food. Super nice!

So erm, not very much I can say at here. We all just eat eat eat, chat chat chat and take pictures all along the way. Cut away grandma story, here come the pictures =)

The side dishes:  bacon at the upper side and sausages at the lower side. My side dish is the bacon and I regretted ordering it. Not because it tastes bad but because I love sausages more! T__T Hate whoever that order sausages for being able to make the right choice!

And after all the main course, here comes the gift for the birthday girl! Mango flavor mille crepe. My first time having mille crepe, super nice! And I love the idea of writing birthday wish on cake using chocolate syrup. Before this, I thought of only icing can be used to write wishes on cake LOL.

So after messing around at BellyGood, as usual, our group is the last one to leave, we went to OverTime at First Subang. I remembered when the very first time I heard about OverTime, I thought it was something like Chatime. Sells bubble tea LOL. Names are similar ma.. And it turns out to be a beer selling bar.

Picture is a bit blur. This is the package we took that day. RM300++, comes with free yu sheng too! As CNY is coming at that point of time, the beer jar (is this how you all call it?) were named with Fok Lok Sau.

Here's the yu sheng. And my girls requested a birthday song to be played during lou sang session =.= akward yeah I knew. Where got people sing birthday song when lou sang one?!

Regretted to drink so much beer that day. I felt like throwing up at the end of the session. Even asked for a plastic from OverTime because I really scared that I will throw up in the car later on. So embarrassing. Only two glasses of beer can cause me the trouble. Next time drink one glass enough ><

That day I had come prepared with my bag with traveling essentials and clothes because I scare that the beer session will end too late and ended up have to stay overnight at Thatcher's house. And my traveling essentials had come in use. I really ended up stay overnight. Get scolded for it some more T__T There were already five people staying in Thatcher's room and I still squeezed in it. They said : When no people sleep here, you also don't want sleep here. When so many people sleep here, you squeeze in some more. T__T sorry lo...

But it was really nice to have overnight with them. At the earlier of the day, we put on make up together, fix hair together and rushed each other to be fast. And at the end of the day, we remove make up together, and even fight for the bathroom together. We kept chatting the whole night, from the moment we were in the room until we were all fall asleep. We talked about boys, internship, works, girls stuff and GOSSIP. We even talked about Brazilian wax with a BOY MAN GUY in the room! Kyle was with us! All females in the room except him, yet he could blend so well into our conversation =)

I missed so much the night with you girls and I hope that we will still have the moment. Moment when we fight for blanket, talk about girls stuff, gossip about others, sleep next to each other, know each other sleeping habits. I love you all, my girls. And happy birthday again to my girl Doink!

we're gonna say goodbye

First official post at the new year of 2012! The previous one didn't count, as it was a review post for what I had done for year 2011. Boring life as usual, LOL. I was pretty unmotivated plus lazy to update my blog but the only reason that motivate me to update it is that I need space for my coming post. I am going to my Jimui Doink's birthday dinner later (18th Jan) so I am gonna blog about it, hopefully by this Friday. And I am going to have interesting Chinese New Year ^^ so I am gonna need lotsa space to blog about it. And I am slightly very annoyed by my previous blog style, where I will cramp all the stuff I wanna blog about in only one post. And then I will like "1st Jan : blah blah blah happened", "5th Jan : blah blah blah happened" and so on. Took me hell lot of time to prepare that one single post and it might annoyed you as well. So I decided to just take off my lazy ass of the bed and update my blog on time, or after single event happened.

So let me started with my as-usual-boring life since the new year started. I had actually made new year resolutions and one of them is to make my life interesting. Interesting as in I mix around with more uni friends and get more social life. But until now, still, my life is as boring as usual. Like now, they are having INTI China Town just outside my block and I am typing a blog post in my room T__T Reasons are
1) I don't have friends to walk out with me. No, it is enough for me to be forever alone in my room, I don't want be forever alone out there too T__T
2) It will make me home sick more. I hate Nilai for not having CNY mood/spirit all around here. I miss the CNY spirit back in my hometown Sempalit or even the spirit in shopping malls like Pavilion. Felt like skipping all the classes and go back to where I belong now!
3) The event is simply boring. Is it not like I never attend event like that before. It is all the same with previous year one. All the same food and drink stalls out there and MC try to bring out the heat out of the crowd -.-
So yeah. Another fail resolution? We can't decide it too fast, after all, it is only the 18th days after new year started.

So lets get into the main topic of the post ^^ Before that, yes, I am fine here except that I miss my home dearly. I wish time can be fast forward so it is CNY now. Random pictures about what I did back in hometown during holidays.

When my mum is busy, I will automatically went to her working place to help her out. I am week in selling because I refused to memorize the cost price and selling price of each item, which will ease a lot when customer asked for discount, but it will take up lot of space of my memory LOL. But I am pretty good in settling paperwork tho =)

Or else I will stay at home, cleaned the home for CNY. Yeah, Happy Tupperwares Day. Mum will use lots of Tupperwares when CNY so I being a good daughter helped her to clean them all so she can use it when in need.

School started on 9th Jan. Went back to The Jungle INTI on 8th. Get enrolled on first day of class.

This is just to show off my patience. How many of you will wait if your turn is like at gap of 100++ 172 away? Me did. I took the Q-number for the payment, feeling like killing INTI for its slow work, went out the enrollment hall to buy ice-cream, went back to hall and sit for 2 hours until it was my turn and it turned up I did not have to pay a single cent as it was already covered by PTPTN. So nice, I love myself for my patience =)

From back in INTI untill today, I was busy with my bf's application to go overseas and settling his stuff here. He was going to and fro between KL and Nilai to settle his application these two weeks. Talk about last minute, he was practically settling his going to overseas stuff seriously only in these two weeks. And I, being a very good gf *shameless again* had to accompany him to run to and fro between my uni and KL. Every single day after the sem started, we will go out. To Subang, where his agent at, or to Shah Alam where he temporary stay at or to Seremban to settle business related stuff or even to the shopping malls where he had promised his friends for meals for his farewell. He even went back to his hometown at Ipoh for few days to settle his family stuff but I was not following for the trip. Crazy ar, I still have my class going on here one ne. So I was practically not at Nilai most of the time because of these. Sometimes I even stay overnight at his guardian's house at Shah Alam because I was too tired to drive back Nilai.

 For this two weeks, this little bag had been my good traveling buddy. It is just nice to stuff in your stuff for a one night trip. Every time we went out to KL, I made sure that I had bring my traveling essentials along, in case I am too tired to drive back to Nilai and had to stay at aunt's (bf's guardian) house. And she is always nice enough to provide me a spacious guest room =)

 My traveling essentials =) This had remind me of about two years ago, of how am I am trained to pack stuff within 5 minutes for emergency business meeting for days at outstation. I am kind of miss that kind of lifestyle now =) where you are always rush to here and there for the business, like a real corporate woman :p

Nothing to be highlighted for the to and fro trip. Nothing special about it also. They were just all me or him drive from Nilai to Subang to find his agent to submit forms and discuss about the universities, then we drove back Nilai. Except that you all want another piece of grandma story telling how I spent my time day by day. Believe me that I kept track of my journey in my organizer planner, but you will not want to listen read all those. Spent a lot on tolls, petrol and having meals outside though T__T I am gonna eat bread to survive this month. A thing that I would like to highlight is that we went for Jogoya and Pavillion on 14th Jan with his friend! ^^ Got a meal of free Jogoya yeah! But I don't like going buffet with him and will never go to buffet with him. He will keep nagging me about how much I had eaten, and how fat I am. Seriously, my jimui that read this, I miss Jogoya session with you girls! <3

So after 3 hours of sitting and chewing *ahem* in Jogoya, we went to Farenheit. Nothing much there, plus the stuff sold there was pretty expensive. I was betting that the rental there is expensive because the price of stuff sold there was not in a line with the quality. Totally did not worth it. Only attraction for me is the Carlo Rino boutique. Lots of stock there LOL And the next destination is Pavillion :D CNY spirit is everywhere in there!

When we was roaming around Starhill, Sephora, Farenheit and Pavillion, I felt very happy at the view. Lots of people were going in and out around the shopping malls. Bf describe the situation is something like they had in Japan, where lots of people were walking here and there, and they waited patiently for the light to turn green at T-junction before continuing their journey to next destination. I agreed with his explanation, of course eliminate the view where lorries simply park at side of road to unload the stuff LOL The view is total beauty. The people make the view at the T-junction looks so merry and pretty. And with all the shopping malls having red red decorations, it lit up the CNY spirit to the max! I always hate to visit Pavillion because the area there was 24/7 having massive traffic jam and I hate to visit shopping malls during weekend, it makes the traffic worse plus there were lots of people inside that you don't even feel like walking in. But this time, I am happy to see another side of the busy-ness of the crowd in the city. It does not feel that bad after all. Eliminate the stupid cars parked at random places and the safety of your belongings ( LOL - because bf keep remind me to take good care of my bag and S2 that time -.- ), it actually feels like the merry crowd in Japan =)

So yeah, everything was settled yesterday and he had already went back to his hometown for CNY and wait for his oversea university approval, me driving him to train station earlier. At first, I felt nothing. It was just a break between us. It is not like we never had a break before when I went back to my hometown and he went back to his. I was still blur and did not know what's in front of me. He almost teared up, saying that this will be the last time I saw him. He will be going overseas for at least one year and half. That is the at least. It might take two years or even three years. His application haven't been approved so we don't know they duration he will take to complete degree oversea. We don't know when is he leaving. I just know that he will leave soon, as soon as the end of the month or the latest by June, but that was unlikely to happen. He is not willing to wait until June. We don't even know to which country he is going, it is either Australia or England. Yeah, I am gonna eat bread in INTI for whole year if I want to visit those places him. We were both pursuing in INTI and we met each other almost daily, even for that half an hour for lunch. He had leave me for a whole month vacation at Australia and month of vacation at China before, I was really okey with those but this will be the first time we will not see each others for years. I had mentally prepared myself for this, I knew he will further study at oversea anytime or sooner. But still I can't hold back tears too when he told me that. I then promised to send him off at airport. It was my initial plan, it is just that I didn't tell him before.

So yeah, now in INTI, I am forever alone again. I don't have much friends here because of my introvert personality. Don't accuse me that I am not having friends here because I stick with my bf 24/7, you don't know me. I am forever alone even before we knew each other. And now I will back to square one, to my old life where I walk to class alone, eat in room alone and doing all sort of stuff alone. As I said, I am prepared for this, but it will take some time for me to adjust back to my forever alone life. Yeah, I can do it I knew it.

I am a bit late but still I wanted to do a review about 2011. I had never done it before but I am gonna give it a try since I saw my friends was having fun doing this. Not all recalled since I have super poor memory, but still challenge accepted! :p So lets begin with the review. :: The beginning of the year
:: Made new year resolution to read all self help book and slim down. First resolution failed T_T and the second one only lasted till mid of the year T_T
:: Another sem started
:: Was in good term with Xiao Wee and Flo as we took the same class and subjects. They were my classroom sista that moment =)
:: Jimui Doink birthday dinner took place at Look-Out-Point, but too bad I could not attend =(

:: The month where CNY took place. I still remembered how I countdown the day to CNY that time.
:: CNY for bunny year was short, but it was greatly utilized with my loved one. For event in details, may refer back to post titled The Happening.

:: Inspired by all the beauty and fashion blogs I read, I started to share some stuff about beauty too, but it stopped there. Main reason is that I felt so low about myself that I think I am not 'qualified' to talk something about fashion and beauty stuff. *extreme low self confidence*

:: Mum comes to visit at Nilai, along with aunt and cousin. Cousin is going to study at INTI.

:: Final exam and another beginning of the sem took place at this month. It was a short sem and I love short sem so much. You have to deal with everything, including subjects you hate just in 2 months. It was a lot better than dealing with them at long sem for 4 months plus.

June
:: Grandma remembrance day. I kept track of her remembrance day every year using the chinese lunar calendar. It was on the fifth month and seventh day of the lunar calendar. And when it was converted back, it fell on 8th June 2011.
:: Mum went to a trip at Thailand. She was so happy to see me in airport to send her off =) mum, it was only 20minutes drive from my place. I am a really bad daughter if I didn't send you off.

:: 21st birthday fell on the busiest week of the sem. I intended to celebrate it with my old classmate too, but due to the packed schedule, I canceled it off =( celebration was simple enough, just birthday dinner with bf and gathering with jimui. But because I am 21, I got lotsa presents from all my loved =(
:: Jimui Sher birthday dinner on 26th July but I could not attend because having final paper the next day. My birthday gathering was on 28th July, held at The Frames, Sunway and it was attended by 13 beautiful peoples =)

:: Went to Kuantan on behalf of mum for training. Met lots of beautiful people there, not to mention the food too. Will take up the training again in future if there is the opportunity =)
:: Bf birthday on 13th. Have a little conflict just an hour before the clock strikes 12am, ended up didn't wish him birthday on time. Have belated birthday celebration for him.

:: Jimui held bbq party on 2th to celebrate mooncake festival at Jesz's house. Had lots of fun with them =)
:: Mum's birthday on 5th. Celebration was simple with home cooked western style dinner and a cake from Secret Recipe.
:: Jimui Jovey birthday dinner celebration on 14th. Had dinner at Las Carretas, Taipan. First time having Mexican food and fell in love with it =)
:: Celebrated Poon birthday at Tony Roma, Sunway Pyramid. First time celebrating college friend birthday.

:: The birthday month where lots of my jimui's birthday fell on this month. Happy birthday to Jimui Kyle, Siew Yoke, Arsh and Ivy =) but the celebration took place at the next month due to busy schedule of all.
:: Involved in a business dealing which requires me to be the middleman. Kind of proud of myself when I can actually contribute to the success of the dealing. *shameless*
:: Had tonsillitis and that lasted for a week plus. Suffered during that time. Vowed to take good care of my health and wear mask when taking on public transport -.-

 RM500+ spent on the medicine and treatment and doctor consultations for my tonsillitis. Must take good care of myself in future so I won't got it again.

November
:: Everyone was talking about 111111. And my third anniversary with bf fell on that day. Had simple lunch on the exact date and went to Sunway at the next day for celebration.
:: Birthday celebration for Jimui Kyle, Arsh and Ivy on 15th. First time ever I didn't put effort in dolling myself for celebration and to buy present for the birthday people due to busy schedule of mine.
:: Not to forget Shin's birthday on 25th. We had just became friends that time.

OK, for the December segment it will be longer, since I didn't blog about the event happening this month earlier. So, lets get started! =) The month was greeted with final exam. Suffered a lot during the final of the last sem of the year. Tangan gatal go take so many killer subjects. Padan muka -.- And now still awaiting for the results. Expect the best but still prepared for the worst =(

This is another birthday month too. Happy birthday to dear Allison, Qin, Lai, Cass and Ki Yang =) Haven't have birthday celebration for them until now lol >< and birthday presents still owing. I am going to broke soon T_T

Went back Raub at 17th after final to fetch mum to KL for shopping.

My hometown Raub is a small village. We barely have anything here. Not even a nice shopping place. Biggest shopping place at here is TF. Wonder if city people that read this know what is TF or not LOL. So I made it a habit since 2010 to bring my mum out for shopping, walk walk and eat good food at end of the year. As usual, mum wants to shop at Sunway. This time, I am the most pannai one. I finished shopping within an hour. LOL. Was happy because finally I got my floral dress =D and a blazer! But I finished budget that mum gave me in that hour too. And I haven't bought accessories and shoes =( Had to dig out own pocket money liao. This year, we finally made it to Jogoya. Mum always wanted to try that after hearing so much from her friends. She looks extremely happy in Jogoya. That made me happy too. But one thing I am unhappy that the food quality at Jogoya had fallen. And my sushi with ebi is not there! =( Even Shogun have lots of sushi topped with ebi, and cheese too! But as long as mum happy, then I am ok with that too. Will bring her here again at 2012 since she loves it so much. We had spent so much in this trip too, eat good food and stuff. Mum was influenced by me to buy a Carlo Rino bag. Haha.. Her first branded bag. She is whining so much about the price haha. Mum, the one I like is RM500++, a lot expensive than yours ne.. But I didn't buy it la.. So expensive T_T 

24th, had gathering with my jimui to countdown Christmas together. Went to Midnight Cafe for to count down, and we have a bucket of Heineken. First time ever having beer during gathering with friends. The third glass and I was already red, the last few glass I had already say no, because could not stand the throbbing pain at the head. But still, it was very good time being with my jimui.

And for my jimui, we had broke our tradition to have Jogoya during the ladies promotion each year! =( We had maintained it so nicely for two years and this time we didn't have it.

I was actually expecting for the gathering at 2011. But I understand that it is hard for all of us, of different university, course and subjects to match our time and have gathering. Lets have it again at 2012, k? 

So basically, this is the review for 2011. Everyone made their new year resolution, I made mine too, but I am not going to reveal it here. What if I say that I want to slim down now then ended up again another kilos at the end of 2012? T_T Everyone that read this will tease me for sure. I don't want..
So I am just going to keep the resolution to myself. And it will be proved by my actions and results all along the year. Believe in no words, and just look at the results =)
